Discuss why the cancer patients are more susceptible to corona virus.

Cancer patients or people in chemotherapy, are more susceptible to the corona virus infections because they have weak immunity and ability to fight against the infections get reduces.not only by corona virus but they are also more susceptible to other opportunistic infections like , candidiasis, bacterial infections, other viral infections ,etc.especially blood related cancers like leukemia,are more prone because due to immature formation of white blood cells which actually act as defence in our body.The cancer patients are immunocompromised patient.Also the people undergone transplantation , or having diabetes are also at higher risk.

To prevent from infections they should stay at home , maintain social distancing, proper hygiene should be maintained.
