applying your knowledge of educational theory from previous courses, which approach would be best for your learners—repeated practice or quality? How can learner confidence be developed with the method that you selected?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer-

Applying the knowledge of educational theory , I think repeated practice would be best for learners.

Learner confidence can be developed with pereated practice in this way-

  • Practice greatly increases the likelihood that students will permanently remember new information.
  • Repeated practice increases student facility or automaticity. Automaticity is usually only achieved through extensive rehearsal and repetition.
  • When students practice solving problems, they increase their ability to transfer practiced skills to new and more complex problems.
  • Repeated practice helps students acquire expertise in subject matter and, therefore, it helps to distinguish novices from experts in given subjects.
  • Cognitive gains from practice often bring about motivation for more learning.
