The culture of safety in my ideal work environment would prioritize patient (and staff) safety by fostering a learning environment and evidence-based care, promoting positive work environment for nurses, and being committed to improving the safety and quality of care to be considered a high reliability organizations (HROs) (Carrol & Rudolph, 2006). I can contribute to this ideal by adhering to all these working conditions and promoting it among my colleagues.
