provide some suggestion for treating anaerobic infections by manipuliting the gas content of the environment

Answer #1

* Obligate anerobes are bacterias which can not survive in a environment with presence of oxygen

because of lack of enzymes like catalase and superoxide dismutase result in lethal superoxide

formed in the cell due to presence of oxygen which cause death of the bacteria.so an environment

with presence of gas oxygen and good tissue oxygenation help to treat anaerobic infections.

(Eg of obligate anerobes are Clostridium botulinum,Clostridium perfinges.)
