Hospital acquired infection in simple refers to the infection occured because of hospital stay .The nurses are the professionals who are in contact with the patients round the clock and has very high responsibility in controlling infection to the patients in any forms.The other healthcare professionals care for patients for a limited or specific period of time and then leave the patient. The HAI can be controlled effectively if the management has certain protocols to be followed in order to control infection rather than any other healthcare professionals.
