ethical guidelines should influence our decisions when implementing or revising policies and procedures regarding patient care decisions; in particular, while considering patient end-of-life care policies. As we should give due importance the principles of; of justice, beneficence, nonmaleficence, accountability, fidelity, autonomy, and veracity. Without adhering to these principles no healthcare provider can provide evidence-based practice that is customized to the personal preferences of the patient based on his customs and religious inclinations especially in case of the end of life care. In this case, it is very important to have informed consent for everything that is done to the patient. For example, a physician-assisted suicide without the consent of the terminally ill patient will be considered murder I.e. malpractice.
