Answer #1

Ans) . My decision is that the Dam should not be build. If this Dam is build not only will animals suffer this action, but also humans and ecology. If the Dam is build more than nine thousand residents will be affected. and over 152,000 acres of rain forest will be destroyed. Also lots of animal species only found in there will be destroyed forever. It is not fair to take someones home away without their concern. The utilitarianism would not agree with this idea due to all the damage caused to animals and many residents who`s home was the Malaysia rain forest.I CONSIDER UNNECESSARY THE CONSTUCTION OF THE BAKUN DAM ,IT'S NEGATIVE FROM AN ENVIRONMENTAL POINT OF VIEW BECAUSE IT HAS CAUSED THE INUNDATION OF 700 SQUARE KILOMETRES OF FOREST AND FARMLAND AROUND THE DAM SITE, AS A CONSEQUENCE 10,000 RESIDENTS HAVE BEING DISPLACED FROM THEIR PREVIOUS SETTLEMENTS TO NEW VILLAGES.
