Neuroleptics also known as Antipsychotics are a class of medication primarily used to manage psychosis which includes delusions, hallucinations, paranoia or disordered thought.

There are many first aid that can be given for the neuroleptic.:

1) Patient should be carried to the hospital as soon as possible.

2) There should not be a delay in the medication or else it may worsen the situation or result in death.

3) The two most frequently used medications are bromocriptine mesylate, a dopamine agonist, and dantrolene sodium, a muscle relaxant that works by inhibiting calcium release from the sarcoplasmic reticulum.

4) Being with the patient and providing proper facilities of treatment.

5) Sufficient amount of air should be present near the surroundings of the pateint.
