Answer #1

Hospitals should integrate palliative care services into their treatment portfolios as they are better equipped with a more trained and qualified staff than the hospice. Proving proper care to the terminally ill patients may improve the quality of their life and hence reduce pain and stress in; patient and their family as well. However, while integrating the palliative care services into their treatment portfolios the hospitals should give the consent of the patient prime most importance and there should be no aggression in approach. Patients should be informed about the treatment and their opinion taken for ending of life.
