This discourages the employees to participate because there is no follow through. In addition, preventative screenings in the workplace are very beneficial because people who work 8 to 5 typically do not have time to go somewhere else to have the screenings done. If they are offered within the workplace, then it is convenient for the employees and it is beneficial for their health. I think the overall concept is a great idea for organizations, if they follow through with the wellness program."
