Culture is defined as a set of created beliefs, attitudes, and values during the process of socialization and which is transferred down to the next generation. Nurses will have to work across the culture after a thorough understanding of the different cultures of the clients within her working environment.

The 2 examples of areas where we can work across culture in a support role are:-

1.Nursing homes: It is a private residential unit where health care is provided

2.Hospice: Hospice provides care for terminally ill patients.
