1). Condom distribution in high schools - ethical dilemma:
Providing condoms to the high school children is likely to reduce the incidence of underage pregnancy and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. If the condoms are considered one of the effective means of preventing the STD’s and unwanted pregnancies, it serves as an important protective agent against these threats.
Distributing the condoms to high school children becomes an ethical issue if it is done without informing their parents. Although condom distribution only protects the children, parents also have the right to direct their children. So, the parents are obligated to provide a consent or reject the condom distribution to their child if they believe that it is not a morally correct action for their child.
