Answer: The Conceptual Framework of Orem’s Self-care theory emphasize on the kind of actions that are needed to support the patient in performing their own work. So, this theory can be applied in the nursing practice as nurse can assist patient regarding the daily assistant in doing work and self care. The nurse should teach and assist patient in self care process. It enables the patient to recover when they feel they are independent to take care of themselves.

Additionally, this theory also involve the activities which requires skills, nurse can assist to the patient by helping to teach, educate about the self care methods. Self care maintains the structural integrity as well as enable patient to maintain their own life.
