Biologic is also known as biopharmaceutical.it is defined as any pharmaceutical drugs product manufactured in, extracted from, or semi synthesized from biological sources.

Eg: vaccines, blood components, tissues etc

It can be composed of sugars,proteins or nucleic acid or may be living cells or tissues.

Biologics are very large,complex or mixtures of molecules.These are produced using recombinant DNA technology.A drug is typically manufactured through chemical synthesis, which means it is made by combining specific chemical ingredients in an ordered process.
