European colonists left their lives behind to take a chance on creating a New World.
If you had the chance today, would you leave it all behind and join a colonial expedition to Mars? Why/why not?
Regardless of whether you'd make the trip, how would you propose setting up the Martian colonial government?

Assume, like later generations of colonists, that you could take much of your willing family along with you. Assume, also, that it is a one-way trip.

European are one such group who always wanted to expand their territory worldwide.They were in a mindset that they should be present everywhere and be a ruling group.

Going to Mars as a one way trip is a good chance for an individual who wish to pursue a career in Astrology but it is mere impossible for an individual who is tied with family bonds.The reason behind this is the fear to creat a new colony out of nothing where survival is a query when it comes to oxygen,medical help and finally food .When there is a shortage of food they probably need to wait till they receive from Earth unless they have cropped it successfully. Government setting should be set up in such a way that it should be able to impose knowledge and skills to live a life rather than governing them politically.
