However ,the staffs who are involved in the patient care can access the information as part of their job . Besides, it is necessary to conduct audits and compliance programs to ensure quality and the integrity. In addition to this, one should be competent enough to manage the changes in technology. Otherwise, it may negatively affect the privacy rules(it can be achieved throgh attending training programs). In some cases, nurses has to advocate for patients in making certain decisions.
