b-p values

c-Confidence Intervals

d-Effect size indexes

Homework Answers

Answer #1

b). p values

The three important requirements of any laboratory test or clinical measurement are,

Accuracy – Indicates the possible closest value of the result to the actual value

Precision – The reproducibility of the result

Reliability – The ability of the method to meet the specified accuracy and precision

The precision of the results can be assessed by the significance level or “p-value.” The significance level indicates the probability of variation in between the results that occurred randomly or not due to the intervention.
