1. The first and foremost objective of case management is better assessment, monitoring and planning. A case manager be it a healthcare staff have to have the ability to do the assessment appropriately so that proper monitoring and planning can be there.

2. Need to understand the quality outcome. Need to plan out the things for early recovery.

3. Need to understand the action point for relapse prevention.

4. Need to take the responsibility to make indivialized care plan for the patient as per their need.

5. Need to evaluate the care plan regularly and update as per need.

6. Should be able to take decision on emergency situation.
