The utilitarian ethics in healthcare which involves; maximizing the outcome, welfare may involve compromising with the welfare of few in the process of maximizing the welfare of the community is not the right approach as the welfare of none should be compromised. Thus applying this theory in a healthcare may involve compromising the privacy and confidentiality of the information of few patients with the aim of benefiting the community. This approach is wrong in the interest of none should be compromised.
