EBP also plays a role in ensuring that finite health resources are used wisely and that relevant evidence is considered when decisions are made about funding health services.

There were several problems/adverse outcomes of not utilizing Evidence-Based Practices. Those are as follows.

• More use of resources
• Less outcome
• Wholistic care is compromised
• Lack of better patient outcomes

• Can't use near real-time data to make care decisions.
