i- Avoid disturbance or problems which interrupt the medication.
ii-Allow only one patient at a time for medication.
iii- Do hand wash with sanitizer.
iv- Never allows the patient to lie completely Straight.
v- Tell the patient to breathe through the mouth.
Yes, it is a sterile procedure. Sterile water can be used in the medication. We should ensure proper placement of the tube in every 24 hours. We can do this using X-Ray or camera on the tube.
