Give one argument for and one argument against the proposition that vaccine-preventable diseases represent a diminished hazard to society.
Argument in favour :
Vaccine preventsble diseases can be prevented through vaccination right from infancy. This leads to immunization of public against such diseases which leads to less prevalence of the disease. Even if the disease occur in vaccinated individuals it would be less severe. This way vaccine preventable diseases does not cause much harm to public snd thus the society.
Argument against the statement :
Vaccine preventable disease can only be prevented if vaccine is administered to the patient. In areas where vaccine is not available or people who do not take vaccine develops the disease which have a severe course. In such situations the disease can lead to physical disability and thus weakens and affects the society.
