Write a case study about a very dependent patient on daily activity in nursing home getting his KAT index independence test on how he perform transforming, dressing,toilets,bathing,feeding and is incontinent?

CASE STUDY:

Mr.Wilson, 62 years old male with aged related debility was brought to Swiss Nursing home for KAT index independence test.He is experiencing extreme weakness in his body nowadays and is unable to carry out his activities of daily living without assistance. He was brought in a wheel chair requiring assistance to transfer to bed. His daughter Ms. Catherine,assisted in bathing this morning, got him dressed completely. She provides him with bedpan for toileting purpose. Mr.Wilson has tremors in his hands so Ms. Catherine fed him with porridge this morning using spoon. She also requested his doctor to place a urinary catheter as Mr. Wilson is incontinent at times.

RESULT: After the KAT index independence test Mr.Wilson was found to be very dependent. His score is zero that indicates yes Mr. Wilson is has impaired ability to function independent for his activities of daily living.
