I hope you will rate my answer positively --

PROCESS CHALLENGE DEVICE-------

It is a device used to assure quality of sterlizers and to monitor performance of sterlization process by challenging it. It is directly placed over the drain line. It is also called as BI test pack. PCD contains chemical indicator (CI), biological indicator (BI) or both . PCD has two components sterlization assurance indicator, and barrier component. Initially we use biological indicator to destroy all microorganisms which includes bacterial spores also. Before placing it in sterlizer, PCD should be tag or labelled with sterlizer load information.

Sterlization is very important in the field of medical to maintain proper hygiene and prevent transmission of infections.

Thankyou.

Air in a piston-cylinder device undergoes an isobaric expansion process from 280 K and 245 kPa to 880 K. This is achieved by adding heat to the system under quasi-equilibrium conditions. What is the work done by the air during this process? (Use the appropriate sign convention.) What is the amount of heat transferred for this process? (Use the appropriate sign convention.) Considering the actual variation in the specific heat of air during the process, what is the change in...
