The Cause of the change in eyelids in patient may be due to :-

1) Stye-.Asses the nurse in patient for any lump on the eyelid with eyelid redness.Puffy eyes are also in stye.

2) Conjunctivitis-.Asses the nurse for any infection or inflammation in the outer membrane of eyeball and the inner eyelid.pain,redness and puffyeyes are symptoms of conjunctivitis.Asses the nurse for this symptoms also.

3) Blepharitis- Asses the nurse for any inflammation on the eyelid,that affects eyelashes and tear production also.puffy eyes,eyelid redness and eye irritation are symptoms of blepheritis,Asses the nurse for this symptoms also.

4) Insect bites-Asses the nurse in patient for any bite of insect such as bee or mosquito which usually cause swelling,skin redness,itching also.

5) Asses for allergies also in eye
