Hispanic/Latino cultural groups are the people with south american, mexico, spanish etc. orgin. They stongly believe in family system and grandparents had a key role in the discussion making in a family.

Hispanic/Latino communities are at risk for obesity and diabetes mellitus. So the care should always include the dietary management. But in most of the cases they are not willing to follow the diet prescribed by the healthcare professionals.

As early said according to their culture they give more importance to family. So the healthcare providers should respect the family members and care should involve family also. We need to plan care to the family members also.

They are strongly bonded with their families because of this they always anxious about the health of each member.
