Medicare is an excellent way of getting extra help ,by getting prescription drug coverage to everyone with Medicare.Inorder to get a Medicare drug coverage,it is required to join an insurance company or a private company approved by Medicare.There are two ways to get a coverage

1.Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (D)

2.Medicare Advantage Plan (C)

The benefits of Medicare Part D plans are

1.Part D has resulted in modest increases in average drug utilization and decreases in average out-of-pocket expenditures.

2.It helps to pay for the cost of brand-name and prescription drugs

3. It also provides general medical and hospitalization coverge to the elderly
