1.to prevent development of type II diabetes
2.prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
*Life style modification is the best treatment for the metabolic syndrome.
*Diet- low fat diet,reasonable amount of carboydrates and protiens are recommended,
*exercise-minimum 30 minutes of moderate exercise,brisk walking is recommended
*medications-insulin sensitizing agent -metaformin for hyperglycemia tretment in clients with metabolic syndrome.
