Obesity has become a health issue globally. Obesity is associated with a wide range of diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke.
One can use strengths within a community to deal with obesity in following way:

1. Encourage consumption of local food items that are healthy and home cooked instead of junk canned food.
2. emphasise on breast feeding

3. employee community people to conduct skits and plays about obesity preventions

4. Reconstruct the community parks to encourage physical activity.
5. Similarly construct paths for cycling, jogging to encourage physical activity.
6. encourage people to quit smoking, alcohol and drug use
