1. Partnership model in simple refers to the active involvement of the patient in their care or self care. It is patient oriented care in healthcare sector especially in nursing care. It actively involved not only the patient but also the family members in the care. This can improve the comfort of the patient and hence improve their health conditions as expected.

It is important for the implementation phase for the following reason

• To improve patient coordination and participation in the care
• To reduce any bias between the patient and the nurse when care is provided
• High patient participation can provide a good quality care.
• It can reduce unnecessary wasting of time when providing a care because patient will be aware of the situation
