Dax insisted to stop the treatment and let him die but hospital not listened to him and continued his treatment so never given him capacity to take his treatment decisions while his decisions taken by physician only.

Competency- Competency in reference to fax cowart can be explained as-

Dax cowart was proven competent by a psychiatrist Robert white to take his decisions but still his mother and his lawyer took decision to continue his treatment.
