Homework Answers

Answer #1

Service Lines in a Healthcare System focuses on patient-centered, correlated care. Patient gets all types of cares such as diagnostic, medical, surgical from an integrated group of healthcare workers.

Apparent barriers and contributors to system integration are:

1. Scarcity of assets- If there is scarcity of resourses in the healthcare it will become a biggest barrier.

2.Lack of knowlegde and skills- Doctors and Nurses should have a lot knowledge about the particular area where they works .They must be well skilled otherwise small mistakes can become a big problem.

3.Insufficient Nurses- Proper ratio of nurses over patients should be there otherwise a lot of workload may lead to big problems.
