That is, should my personal view be the law for others?

According to the Mill's concept of the utilitarianism; my personal view should not be; the law for others as according to his ethical theory ethical theory; the best action is the one that maximizes utility. Thus morally right or wrong depends on their effects of the deeds. The moral worth of any action depended solely on its contribution to the overall utility for maximizing happiness or pleasure for all people. When a personal view becomes the law without taking into consideration the views and interests of others it will not maximize the happiness or pleasure for all people. Thus it will not be valid according to the utilitarian view.
