The theory of The Middle Range according to Robert K. Merton is based on the fact that; the working hypotheses evolves in abundance during day-to-day research and the all-inclusive systematic efforts to develop a unified theory. I can use this theory to direct care in a nursing unit if I were the manager by generating a data of patient satisfaction and the level care providers along with the services provided by the organization I serve and developing a unified conclusion i.e. theory, for example, the use of qualified staff has led to increased patient satisfaction in my organization.
