Due process balances the power of law of the land and protects the citizens from it. When a person is harmed by the government due to not following the exact course of the law, it constitutes a due process violation, thus the Due process law; guarantees fundamental fairness, justice, and liberty.

Stare decisis is a legal doctrine that obligates courts for following the historical cases; while making a ruling on a similar current or future case.

These two principles important are important as they establish the fairness and impartiality of the legal system. They restore the human rights and ensure that they are not violated.
