When the probability that the result is compatible with the null hypothesis is very small it is called Statistically significant. However, clinical significance, or clinical importance: is the condition in which the difference between new and old therapy is found in the study to be large enough for us to alter our practice. Thus when it comes to healthcare and nursing; clinical significance is more important and statistical significance is important in research.
