Best treatment are

  1. Non steroidal anti inflammatory medication. This NSAIDS will help in the reliving of inflammation of the bones . NSAIDS and rest along with physiotherapy can influence the patient condition greatly
  2. Realignment of bones - in chronic conditions if one side of the knee has been affected more than two sides then osteotomy can be done and specific wedge if bone can the then inserted after osteotomy. This will help in the shifting of weight bearing from the worn out part of the bone
  3. Joint replacement can be done called arthroplasty. In this the damged portion of the bone us removed and then it is replaced with biosynthetic materials . This is the best method for chronic osteoarthritis..
