Statistics in the healthcare:

1). Statistics is important to present the data obtained from a huge population in a precise and accurate manner that represent the total population studied. The quantitative results are more convincing than the qualitative results.

2). Statistics is also important to compare the efficiency, improvement or similar measurable quality of a drug or a healthcare plan. The decision can be made based on the statistical value (for example, a statistically significant difference in efficacy of two drugs makes a person to choose one drug over the other).
