In small doctor's clinic or office, workflow is difficult to capture entirely due to the time taken for the each task related to each patient. Staffs normally does the works manually . They have heaps of files, forms and paperwork, which can be lost in future. Today there are many economically valued EHR systems available to systemize the workflow. This EHR system in front office, for scheduling and appointments, however the doctor reluctant to spend time on interactions with patients because of time constraints. If the Doctor comfortable with EHR system ths can be used in workflow system. EHR system is certified by Healthcare Councils. Government funded programs of EHR also provide the incentives to the office which meets up the metrics and criteria. Thus the EHR plays vital role in the development of small offices.
