There are two algorithms that used to maintain the record of An EMPI patient. One is regulatory and the other one is feasibility.

Determined criteria, called correct mail conclusions, provide an exact match for the data component of patient records. For example, if they agree with the patient's first and last name and phone number, they will get two records. Elements that do not fit well, such as a nickname or a married name, may be the reason for the rejection.It can combine multiple small MPIs, such as from outpatient clinics and rehabilitation facilities. An EMPI can integrate patient information into a facility within a separate system.
