1. Between 2009 & 2010 has the reimbursement rates for Medicare ambulatory services gone up or down? By how much?
2. What do you think the result of the change will be on service availability for the covered population?
With resources please.
The reimbursement rate for Medicare ambulatory service has gone up depending upon the types of services taken by the patient. There has been 10.9% increment in ambulatory surgical care.As per the survey done by National Ambulatory Medical Care Service (NHAMS) there was a response of 78.6% in the service.
The dramatic change between the two years was the availability of different services .It was made little comfortable and easier after using Medicare. As this covers a good number of diseases under reimbursement category.
