What is your opinion of the Affordable Care Act? What do you think will be the consequences of the repeal of mandatory insurance?

Affordable care act aims to make health insurance available to all, cover people with salary below 138% of poverty line and support innovative and affirdable healthcare services. ACA is very useful and beneficial as it aims to make health care services affordable and available to all. It aims to cover all the people with health insurance irrespective of their salary. ACA will also lead to improved quality pf health services.

Impact of repealing mandatory insurance : The government has announced to revoke the penalty on mandatory insurance to all. Earlier consumers were penalized when they filed their taxes for the year they lacked coverage. But now, consumers won’t face fines who di not have insurance. This will lead to large population opting out of health insurance plans which will lead to lose for insurance companies. This dynamics will lead to instability in the market.
