The law was signed as part of the Health Information Technology " Stimulus package" for the 2009 Economic and Clinical Health Act. This date represents the largest in initiative in the United States , designed to encourage the board use of Electronic Health Records. In light of the changes , the propose of this paper is to prepare and summarize the literature on the benefits and drawbacks of EHR systems. Most of the literature is important in dealing with EHR functions,clinical decision support system, computerized order entry system and health information ex change.
