The issue of censorship within Hip Hop exploded in the early 1990’s.  Identify two artists/groups involved and explain how their music contributed to the censorship issue.   What is your stance on censorship when it comes to the music industry, specifically hip hop?

Two artist/group includes: 1) Thompson Florida: . The Gangstar was a subject to scrutiny at the Federal level,FBI etc in those days.The song was criticize because it's calls for violence and disrespect for law enforcement officers. 2) 2 Live Crew: some of there songs portrait gang violence and encourages sex in public. My stance in censorship: Although censorship limit freedom of speech in the hip hop industry ,which makes it a threat to public morality in the 90's .it's reduces the rate of immorality in the society. But nowadays where freedom of speech is allowed in hip hop industry, there is moral decadence in the society ,which on the long run have effect in the younger generation ,if not controlled.
