The United States department of health and Human services in collaboration with the Office of disease prevention and Health promotion chooses national health awareness months at domestic country levels and global bodies like World Health Organization and related health related agencies and intergovernmental efforts decide on the health awareness months at the global level. important efforts in disease prevention is making the human connection through awareness and by declaring the specific months to spread awareness about diseases help in educating the people and guiding them towards awareness of the particular diseases leading to treatment and prevention. The awareness and educational efforts also help in generating funding and sponsorship for disease awareness, research and treatment development. every month of the year or even weeks and days are decided in conjunction with all the medical organisation with specific significance of those months days or weeks in order to have a dedicated month or week or a day to talk, understand, educate and learn about that diseases with health awareness.
