You will write a comprehensive report about how hospital food services are dealing with the situation of Cardiovascular disease (CVD.) Your report will contain the following:

1.      Introduction about CVD and define institutional food service systems in hospitals.

2.      The important role that may inform the goals and objectives of the meal service in CVD

3.      The types of institutional food services the meals may be delivered to the CVD patients in hospital in this situation.

4.      What types of food should be providing to CVD patients? And give reasons.

5.      Provide a designed menu as a one week menu for CVD patients.

1....CVD....Cardiovascular diseases is a group of disordres or diseases which affects the heart functions,heart structure  or blood vessels .It can be presented in many ways such as congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart attack, cardiomyopathy, valvular dysfunction,deep vein thrombosis, vascular diseases ,stroke, etc...CVD is a major cause of death in a global manner.

Institutional food service system in hospital means provision of food/ meals in a hospital as per the patient's situation and nutritional status demands.it also provide food for staff ,patient relatives and visitors.

2. GOAL....To attain a healthy heart life with the help of a well  balanced diet.

OBJECTIVES...to avoid risk factors due to an unhealthy diet.

provide a healthy diet.

do not increase the body weight of the patient

3, Diet rich in fruits and vegetables,whole grains. poultry(skinless),fish, nuts,whole grains, diary products(low fat)( kindly wrie the answer according to your hospital facility practices)
