Plasma : it's a liquid ,cell free part of blood, that has been treated with anticoagulants .

A) Bloof sugar : it can be determined by any one of whole blood , serum , or plasma but sugar level will be less in whole blood the n serum and plasma. Sample is collected in grey tube color which contains sodium fluoride/ k+ oxalate.

B) creatinine : . This is serum type of the specimen . Color of sample tube is golden color which contains clot activator and gel for serum sepration .

C) coagulation : its plasma type of specimen, and color of sample tube is sky blue colour which contain sodium citrate.

Total plasma volume is important in determining the required plasma component in blood replacement therapy for a person undergoing surgery. Plasma volume is influenced by the overall health and physical activity of an individual. Suppose that a random sample of 45 male firefighters are tested and that they have a plasma volume sample mean of x = 37.5 ml/kg (milliliters plasma per kilogram body weight). Assume that σ = 7.70 ml/kg for the distribution of blood plasma. (a) Find a...
