A public health, is a medical issue that affects a significant portion of a specific population. Some examples include chronic illness like type 2 diabetes, mental health challenges, and even motor vehicle accidents.

Access to comprehensive, quality health care services is important for promoting and maintaining health, preventing and managing disease, reducing unnesscessary disability and premature death, and achieving health equity for all Americans.

There are six quality issue in medical care . These issues warrant the attention of health care leaders: misdiagnosis, star rating, socioeconomic adjustment for readmissions, the end of partnership for patients programs, Medicaid parity expiration, and Disproportionate share hospital cuts.

One of the major issues healthcare facing today is costs and transparency. Patient and consumer are now especially disadvantaged when it comes to lack of transparency around the price and cost of Healthcare products and services. As costs increase, market proponents should insist that consumers have access to comparative information, the price and cost of the products or services compared, and an analysis of the possible scenarios relevant to their purchasing decision. As the cost of health care increased and the economic climate worsens, employers are less able to absorb these costs.
