Ans. Correct option is A. PEG . PEG stands for percutaneous endoscopic gastrectomy, a procedure in which a tube placed in the stomach through abdominal wall. PEG allows nutrition , medication or fluid to be inserted directly in the stomach by passing mouth ot esophagus.

Tube insertion is not a better option than mouths (naturally ) but if we have oral cancer , pharynx problem. So we have to reduce or no intake by mouth to increase healing. Then we insert a tube to meet the needs of body ,nutritionally .
