    Giardia

    Ringworm

    Anthrax

    Schistosomiasis

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Correct answer is Giardia.

Because Giardia caused by one of the protozoa which is mastigophora - flagellated protozoa ( single cell eukaryotic)

Other options are incorrect because Ringworm is caused by fungus which is different class than protozoa

Anthrax is caused by rod shaped bacillus bacteria . Bacteria is different from protozoa as protozoa are bigger than bacteria and have different structures. Thus it also incorrect

Schistosomiasis is caused by parasitic worm and not by protozoa . Schistosomiasis is parasitic worm infection and though confusion arises as giardia is caused by protozoan parasite as protozoa can be free living and some are parasitic but it is not same as parasitic worm infection.

So Correct option is A - Giardia
